Have you received a card in the mail telling you to break up with your union?

The cards, calls, and/or texts are coming from the Mackinac Center, The Freedom Foundation, sometimes referred to as “Teacher Empowered”. These efforts are backed by billionaires like Betsy DeVos and the Koch brothers who wish to dismantle public education.

Their real aim is to limit our voice and our ability to advocate for the pay, benefits, and working conditions that we need to serve our students and their families.

They aren’t looking out for us, and they sure aren’t looking out for public education.

If you get a call or a card, just hang up, or let them know you’re sticking with the union!
